Yeah, I started following Joey's blog something like a month or two ago. I can't remember what pointed me to it again which makes me think that I might have come across him from your blog at http://www.moochuk.com.

I saw him first a couple of years ago on a link from the strobist site when he was even younger and doing cool stuff in his garage (or perhaps his parents garage I think he was that young) with fake blood, dirt and baby oil for a band that needed some gritty fight shots. Not only was he producing cool pictures but he was coming up with the solutions to make those cool pictures.

I like these shots. Great compostiion. The backdrop reminds me of some of the night scenes from the film "Heat". Great, dramatic backdrop. Personally I find portrait work difficult and frustrating. Someone that does inspire however is JoeyL. His shots of Fifty Cent and the tribes people are inspirational:

Hi Stephen

Tried to use the contact form on your site but didn't seem to work.
Saw your photos on flickr (of the Knitted stuff around Chipping Norton and wondered if you'd let me use them on the town site www.cnuk.info - with a credit of course.

Loving the blog by the way!
